On the occasion of the European Gum and Periodontium Health Day, the Dental Clinic organized free-of-charge dental examinations on May 10 and 11, 2018. The interest of the citizens was great, so that the dentists of the Department of Periodontology and Oral Medicine examined about 150 people with whom they discussed the maintenance of oral hygiene and teeth and gum’s health.

Dental examination included assessment of gum and periodontium status, as well as advice on oral hygiene maintenance.

The opinion of the MMA dentist is that the awareness of the need for maintaining and improving oral hygiene is growing, and that this kind of examinations are the best way to draw attention to this important aspect of health care and quality of life.
