Operating Block with Centralized Sterilization
The Operating Block includes 20 operating rooms out of which 16 are located in the Central Operating Block. The other 4 rooms are in the Emergency Center (two) and at the Clinic for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Burns (two). All the operating rooms boast the state-of-the-art equipment including sterilization and anesthesiology apparatus.
About 17 000 surgeries from most simple to most complex such as tissue and organ transplantation are performed in this Operating Block each year.
