Clinic for General Surgery
About 3000 most advanced surgical interventions involving the esophagus, stomach, small and large intestines, breast and thyroid gland are performed each year at the Clinic for General Surgery. The liver, gallbladder and pancreas surgeries are the part of its daily clinical practice including as well surgical treatment of portal hypertension and living-donor and living-cadaver liver transplant procedures.
The military insured patients and civilian referrals can seek services with General Surgery Ward within its hours of operation (from 07.30 a.m. to 03.00 p.m.), Monday through Friday. Self-pay patients can visit this Ward during its afternoon working hours between 03.30 p.m. and 07.30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
