Presentation of "Milovan Antić" Award

At the official Award Ceremony at the Military Medical Academy, organized by the Serbian Society of Nuclear Medicine and the MMA Institute of Nuclear Medicine, the "Milovan Antić" Prize was awarded for the best paper published in an international magazine covering this field.
This prestigious award-winner is Professor Dr. Dragana Šobić Šaranović from the Center of Nuclear Medicine, Clinical Center of Serbia and President of the Society. Her paper has been published in the magazine Clinical Nuclear Medicine, official journal of the American College of Nuclear Medicine and the election criteria was a total number of points, i.e. magazine impact factor, magazine category and number of votes given by the Society members.
The prize was named after Prof. Antić, a pioneer of nuclear medicine in Serbia and Yugoslavia, whose work was related to the first radioisotope application in diagnostics and treatment. It has been established 19 years ago as traditional motivation for numerous generations of nuclear-medical experts to achieve important academic results.
Prior to the best paper declaration, four scientific works which participated in this year competition have been presented. In addition, the event has been accredited as continuous medical education covering the topic of nuclear medicine achievements in 2013.
