Representatives of the Military Healthcare Department headed by Colonel Prof. Dr. Zoran Segrt met today with the delegation of the medical service of the Armed Forces of Hungary, led by the Head of that service, Brigadier General Dr. Istvan Kopco.

The meeting was an opportunity to exchange experiences on the epidemiological situation caused by the coronavirus, the organization of the treatment service in military healthcare institutions and the work of temporary and military Covid19 hospitals.

During the presentation of the scope of military healthcare, special emphasis was placed on the excellent organization of the vaccination process in Serbia, which provided its citizens, including members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, four vaccines from different pharmaceutical companies, which made our country one of the most successful European countries. Also, the possibilities of improving the cooperation between the two countries in the field of military medicine were discussed.

The visit of the delegation of the Armed Forces of Hungary ended with a tour of the military Covid19 hospital "Karaburma" and the temporary Covid19 hospital "Stark arena".
