Belgrade, October 16 – Special Envoy of the UN Secretary General Mrs. Rima Salah and the Force Commander of the UN peacekeeping mission in Chad and the Central African Republic (MINURCAT) presented the members of the MMA’s surgical team UN medals for their high professional contributions and commitment within the mission framework.

In the discussion with the members of our team, the Defense Minister of the Kingdom of Norway, Mrs. Anne-Grete Strom Erichsen expressed the great contentment of the Norwegian contingent and the Light Field Hospital Commander with their commitment, professionalism, knowledge and skills and demonstrated humanity.
The 6-member MMA’s team has been deployed to the mission in Chad since June 23, 2009, by the Decision of the National Assembly and Ministry of Ddefence of the Republic of Serbia. Our experts were assigned to the Norwegian contingent as a part of the Light Field Hospital.
