Head of the Military Healthcare Department, Brigadier General, Radivoje Anđelković VMD, met with the delegated minister in charge of national defense of the Republic of Gabon, Major General Brigit Okanova, at the Military Medical Academy.

At the meeting, which was attended by the Head of the MMA, Colonel Prof. Dr. Miroslav Vukosavljević with his colleagues, the delegation of the Republic of Gabon was presented with the capacities of military healthcare and the organization of work under the jurisdiction of the medical service. During the discussion about various fields of military medicine and ways of cooperation through training, education and development of scientific thought, it was emphasized that when it comes to health there are no differences, that the language of medicine is universal and that the exchange of knowledge between colleagues is of great importance.

The delegation of the Republic of Gabon also visited the organizational units of the MMA - the Center for Hyperbaric Medicine, the Clinic for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the Institute of Radiology, as well as the angio rooms in the MMA.
