The best paper at the Symposium

 Belgrade, December 16 - The paper of the civilian employee Vera Đuričić from the MMA Clinic for Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology titled ‘The role of nurse in nursing personnel education on the importance of stressors in the preoperative care’ was declared to be the best paper presented at the recently held Symposium of head medical nurses, technicians and midwives of the Republic of Serbia.
The Thematic Symposium devoted to ‘’Work Environment for Nurses Safety’’ was held on the Tara mountain in the organization of the Association of medical nurses, technicians and midwives of the Republic of Serbia, under the auspice of the Ministry of Health. More than 500 participants from Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia took an active part in the work of the Symposium.
The Symposium discussions addressed thematic areas such as protection against infections, ionizing radiation, save drug handling and the physical and mental health of medical nurses.
The course supported by a workshop on ‘’Education of medical nurses, technicians and midwives in prevention and control of Nosocomial infections’’ was also held during the Symposium. The Course was led by the head of the MMA Department of prevention and control of Nosocomial infections Assist. Prof. Vesna Šuljagić, MD, PhD.
