The Third Class of the Military Medical Training Center at the Training Start

The event marking the start of training for the Third Class candidates at the voluntary military service for the Reserve Officers of the Military Medical Training Center, MMA’s Sector for Education and Scientific-Research took place in the MMA’s Amphitheater on September 5, 2012.
This solemn occasion was attended by the MMA’s head Brig. Gen. Prof. Dr. Marijan Novakovic, dean of the MMA’s Medical School Brig. Gen. Academician Prof. Dr. Miodrag Colic as well as the other heads of cathedras and MMA’s lecturers.
The head of the Military Medical Training Center Col. Dragan Jovanovic wished a warm welcome to the new generation of 10 physicians and 11 dentists who are attending the military medical training.
After the introducing speech, the attendees were addressed by the head of the Sector for Education and Scientific-Research Col. Prof. Dr. Predrag Romic stressing out the long history and rich tradition of education in medical service. Along with the welcome he accentuated the significance of responsibility they have to show during their military medical training while the MMA’s teaching staff intends to provide them a high level of education and a pleasant stay in the facility.
The future reserve officers and members of the Serbian Armed Forces Medical Service were also saluted by the MMA’s head Brigadier General Prof. Dr. Marijan Novakovic who used that occasion to approve a successful apply of the Resolution UN 1325 during the enrollment of the new generation of candidates. He wished them a success emphasizing the possibility to earn, apart of the theoretical knowledge, the valuable and qualitative practical skills.
