The Minister of Health of the Republic of Namibia, Dr. Kalumbi Shangula, visited the Military Medical Academy as part of his official visit to the Republic of Serbia.

The State Secretary of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr. Vesna Turkulov accompanied the Namibian delegation.

Head of the Military Healthcare Department, Brigadier General Dr. Radivoje Anđelković VMD, and Head of the MMA, Colonel Prof. Dr. Miroslav Vukosavljević presented the organization of military healthcare and the capacities of military health institutions from the garrison to the tertiary level. The topics of discussion included the possibilities of cooperation between the two countries in the field of military medicine, and there was special interest in scientific research work and modalities of education and training of military medics.

After the meeting, a tour of the organizational units of the MMA was organized for the guests.
