Competition organized by Shotokan Karate Federation of Serbia and Soko Association-Novi Sad gathered approximately 1400 contestants coming from 32 world states.
"I actively train karate since I was a child. I participate at numerous national and international competitions. Although having a lot of medals, this is my favorite, maybe, because I had the least time for preparation which made me more motivated for victory. This is the most important competition and I am very proud at myself that I succeed to finish all important obligations and won the first place"-said Milica Stankovic, 4th class female cadet.
Shotokan is a style of karate developed from Japanese martial arts by sensei Gichin Funakoshi on the island Okinawa at the beginning of last century. At the moment, it represents one of the most popular karate styles in Serbia.
