The Head of the medical corps of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Major General prof. Dr. Timothy Hodgetts, began a multi-day official visit to the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Serbia.

General Hodgetts met today with the Head of the Military Healthcare Department, Brigadier General Dr. Radivoje Anđelković and the Head of the MMA, Colonel Prof. Dr. Miroslav Vukosavljević at the Military Medical Academy in order to get acquainted with the capacities of military healthcare and the work of all levels of healthcare. The talks were also attended by representatives of the MMA in order to acquaint the British delegation with the methods of training and preparation of medical teams. There was talk about successful military medical cooperation so far, the results of the participation of representatives of both sides at international meetings of members of the world's military medical services, but also about the types of education of medics and the levels of education at the Medical Faculty of the MMA University of Defense.

During today's visit, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the MMA University of Defense, Prof. Dr. Sonja Marjanović presented the plaque to Major General Prof. Dr. Timothy Hodgets, by which he was promoted to visiting professor at the Faculty of Medicine, MMA, University of Defense. At the ceremony, his impressive biography was presented, and General Hodgetts gave an introductory lecture on the topic of leadership, which was attended by a significant number of military healthcare staff and cadets of the MF MMA.
