The Delegation of the Republic of Angola Ministry of Defence led by the deputy minister of National Defence for Material Resources, Salviano de Jesus Sequeira "Kianda" paid an official visit to the Military Medical Academy. The aim of the visit was to discuss possibilities of advancing relationship within the military medical cooperation framework.

The head of the Military Medical Academy, Col. Prof. Dr. Marijan Novaković expressed his belief that the military medical cooperation is one of the most promising forms of bilateral cooperation in the defence sphere. It offers great many possibilities, ranging from expert exchanges, education and advanced training for medical personnel at the Military Medical Academy to the joint work on a new hospital project based on the MMA’s model. The Angolan side showed its interest in all that.
