Slava Day Marked at MMA

Slava Day of the chapel of Saint Luke, Archbishop of Simferopol and Crimea at the MMA, was marked today with a holy bishop's liturgy, which was served by the Bishop of Lipjan, Vicar of the Serbian Patriarch and Military Bishop Dositej Hilandarac.
The holy liturgy and the commemoration of the Slava Day of the MMA were attended by the founder of the chapel, Dr. Nenad Popović, the head of the MMA, colonel prof. Dr. Miroslav Vukosavljević with associates, a large number of dignitaries of the Serbian Orthodox Church, employees and friends of the MMA.
The liturgy in the chapel at the MMA, dedicated to Saint Luke, a Russian surgeon, archbishop and painter, has been served regularly since its opening in 2009. An icon with the relics of Saint Luke of Simferopol, brought from Russia as a gift and blessing of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill, is kept in the chapel.
Saint Luka - the Slava of the Military Medical Academy has been celebrated since 2017.
