Brigadier General Prof. Dr. Zoran Popovic, head of the Military Healthcare Department paid a visit to General Defence Healthcare Inspection of Kingdom of Spain Ministry of Defense. Within the cooperation framework, he visited Central Military Hospital and Military Field Hospital of Spanish AF.
The conversations with Spanish hosts included sharing experience in the field of training programs for medical technicians and physicians, medical specialists exchange program between Military Medical Academy in Belgrade and Central Military Hospital in Madrid, adding also the cooperation related issues in the field of education between two medical schools and preparations for mutual participation of two medical teams in peacekeeping missions.
Spain representatives accepted the invitation to return the visit to Serbia late this year, which will be dedicated to further agreement in the area of military healthcare.
