Belgrade, Febrauary 15 - On the occasion of the 15th of February, the Serbian Armed Forces Day, the Minister of Defence  Dragan Šutanovac awarded the prize for the best research work in the MoD and AF of the Republic of Serbia to professor Bela Balint,  MD, PhD from the MMA Transfusiology Institute for his work in the field of regenerative medicine relating to therapeutic application of stem cells in patients with acute myocardial infarction during cardiological surgery and the  cell therapy in patients with liver cirrhosis and degenerative changes in pancreas.
