Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina Ministry of Defence Visited MMA

Military Medical hosted a seven-member delegation of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Ministry of Defence, led by Mr. Zekerijah Osmic.
The aim of the meeting, organized within the framework of two-day visit to the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia, was the improvement of existing cooperation. It was attended by the Head of the Military Health Department Brigadier General Prof. Dr. Zoran Popovic, Head of the Military Academy Major General Prof. Dr. Mladen Vuruna and the Head of the Military Medical Academy Brigadier General Prof. Dr. Marijan Novakovic.
After General Popovic presentation about the military healthcare organization and work in the Republic of Serbia, the MMA Head met the guests with the MMA capacities in the field of health, education and scientific research. Colonel Dr. Nikola Zec spoke about formation of the Balkan Medical Task Force and further development of the military healthcare cooperation on the regional level.
Delegates of the Ministry of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina expressed their special interest for the collaboration in the area of education and the other types of medical training. They also had the opportunity to take a tour to the MMA organizational units as the Center for Hyperbaric Medicine and Child Dispensary of the MMA Specialist Outpatient Clinic.
