„Reconstructive surgical procedures in maxillofacial surgery“

The scientific seminar on „Reconstructive surgical procedures in maxillofacial surgery“ held at the Military Medical Academy dealt with the problems related to reconstruction of facial defects caused by traumatic injuries or tumor ablation, which is considered one of the most complex surgical procedures. Tratment algorithms and approaches to such problems were presented by the experts from Serbia, Germany, Turkey and Croatia.
The event organizers were the Serbian Association of Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Balkan Association of Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Military Medical Academy.
The lectures were delivered by Prof. Dr. Josip Bill (Germany), Prof. Dr Reha Kisnisci (Turkey), Prof. Dr Vedran Uglesić (Croatia), Col. Prof. Dr. Marijan Novaković (MMA), Col. Prof. Dr. Nebojša Jović (MMA), Prof. Dr Vitomir Konstatinović (Clinic for Maxillofacial Surgery, Belgrade University School of Dental Medicine), Asst. Prof. Dr. Živorad Nikolić (Clinic for Maxillofacial Surgery, Belgrade University School of Dental Medicine), and Asst. Prof. Dr. Vojkan Lazić (Clinic for Maxillofacial Surgery, Belgrade University School of Dental Medicine).

There were around 250 participants attending the Seminar, among whom were maxillofacial, oral and plastic surgeons as well as ENT specialists and dentists. It was the accredited CME Seminar offering 5 CME credits for participants and 11 CME credits for lecturers.
