The Military Medical Academy hosted the Symposium carrying the title "Modern Radiotherapy of Malignant and Benign Tumors" organized by the MMA's Institute of Radiology and Section for Radiotherapy of Serbian Medical Society. The event was attended by the MMA's head Brigadier General Prof. Dr. Marijan Novakovic and State Secretary of the Ministry of Health Prof. Dr. Vladimir Djukic.

The physicians from Military Medical Academy and the Institute of Oncology and Radiology of Serbia together with guest lecturers presented the modern topics in the field of radiotherapeutic technology, accuracy control and IGRT application in everyday practice, as well as the tumor treatment issues using radiotherapy. Thereafter, the symposium participants started the interactive discussion which gave a special quality to the event. 

On this occasion, the attendees also had the possibility to hear all about the first experiences from the Radiotherapy Center in Banja Luka.
