Belgrade, January 1/09 - Col. Prof. Nebojša Stanković, MD, PhD, the head of the Clinic for General and Abdominal Surgery and the Group of Surgical Clinics of the Military Medical Academy was appointed as new president of the Serbian Medical Society Section of Surgery. The Section’s election session was held in Belgrade, on December 26, 2008. This appointment is another significant recognition bestowed upon the MMA Surgical School.
