Belgrade, December 2 - The International Day against HIV/AIDS was marked on December 1st at the amphitheater of the Military Medical Academy in the presence of all the healthcare workers. Assist. Prof Vesna Šuljagić, MD, PhD, the head of the Department of Nosocomial Infections Prevention and Control, addressed in her speech the global aspects of HIV/AIDS-related problems and prevention measures. The educational film titled ‘‘HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control within the Armed Forces of the Republic of Serbia’’ was shown to the audience and propaganda material on the significance of prevention of this currently incurable disease from its pandemic spread was distributed.
