Books by authors from the Military Medical Academy were presented at the stand of the Media Center "Defense" during the 61st International Book Fair held from 23 to 30 October 2016 in Belgrade.

Visitors had the opportunity to learn more about the monograph "From partisan military medical service to the medical service of the military 1941-1945" by retired Brigadier General Doc. dr Veljko Todorovic and Major General retired prim. Dr. Branislav Popovic, as well as about the book by Head of the Clinic for Infectious and Tropical Diseases MMA Colonel Prof. Dr. Dragan Mikic "Infectious diseases in Serbian population and military during wars in the 20th century - activities of the Serbian Medical Corps on prevention and treatment." In addition to new releases as well as some previously published titles by MMA’s authors, medical, scientific and educational editions published by Media Center "Defense" were presented, and some of them are also textbooks at the Medical Faculty of the Military Medical Academy, University of Defence in Belgrade.
