Members of the team for the special intervention of the Military Medical Academy took part in a joint search and rescue exercise in civil aviation SAREX 22-17, organized by the Civil Aviation Directorate of the Republic of Serbia, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces.

The aim of the exercises was the verification of training and coordination of over 60 participants of different teams for the transport of the injured persons from the spot of an accident by air and providing first aid or medical treatment of the injured person at the Emergency Center of the Military Medical Academy. Members of the Rescue Coordination Center of the Directorate of Civil Aviation, Helicopter Units of the Ministry of Interior, SMATSA, Operational Command Center of the Air Force and Air Defense of the Armed Forces of Serbia and MMA participated in the exercise.
