MMA at the congress of military medicine

Head of MMA, Colonel Prof. Dr. Miroslav Vukosavljević, and Prof. Dr. Slavica Vučinić the Head of the National Poison Control Center MMA, participated in the work of the 45th World Congress of Military Medicine held in Brisbane, Australia.
Along with the main theme of the congress - engagement of military medical services in shaping global health through the provision of humanitarian aid and support in conditions of mass disasters, 60 sessions and 80 poster presentations were held on the characteristics and complexity of providing health support, including news from the most important branches of military medicine such as traumatology, epidemiology, infectious diseases, and others. The MMA delegation also participated in the work of the general assembly of the International Committee of Military Medicine - ICMM).
The International Committee of Military Medicine, founded in 1921, gathers over 100 military medical services of the world. The organization's activities are based on the annual meetings of the presidents of military medical services, the biennial congresses of military medicine, and the work of several medical branches and regional organizations. ICMM is recognized as one of the most important organizations in military medicine at the world level.
