Professor Dr. Boško Milev from the Clinic for General Surgery of the Military Medical Academy held a lecture at the scientific meeting "Laparoscopic surgery today in Serbia" at the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Belgrade.

The scientific meeting dedicated to minimally invasive surgery was held for the second time in the hall of SANU, and on that occasion, the most eminent experts presented the scientific foundations of laparoscopic surgery, innovative surgical interventions, and specific monitoring in laparoscopic surgery. Professor Boško Milev PhD, held a lecture on the thirty-year experience of the MMA in the field of laparoscopic surgery.

At the meeting, the development and spread of minimally invasive surgery in the surgical institutions of the Republic of Serbia were analyzed and at the same time, a contribution was made to the modernization of our surgery and the equal availability of minimally invasive surgery to citizens in all parts of Serbia.
