The Head of the Clinic for Vascular and Endovascular Surgery of the MMA, Colonel Prof. Dr. Aleksandar Tomić, was elected President of the Association of Cardiovascular Surgeons of Serbia.

The new leadership of the Association was elected at the jubilee 10th Congress held in Belgrade. During these two days, more than 130 lecturers from the country and abroad presented the latest trends in vascular, cardiac surgery, anesthesiology, perfusion, and nursing. The Military Medical Academy was represented at the Congress by surgeons and anesthesiologists through lectures, abstracts, and case reports.
