The day of the MMA Medical Faculty of the University of Defence in Belgrade was marked at the Military Medical Academy.

On behalf of the University of Defence in Belgrade, the Vice-rector for quality and development, Colonel Boban Djorovic PhD, addressed the audience. He congratulated all members of the Faculty on the results achieved during the previous year, especially on the realization of the teaching process, achievements of admirable results, but also on the accreditation of a new study program of vocational studies for nurses. As he stated, he is convinced that in the coming period, the Medical Faculty will continue to achieve the same results in the field of educational and scientific research with the same success, and that the University will help them on that path.

Acting Head of the MMA Colonel Prof. Dr. Miroslav Vukosavljevic said in his address that the Military Medical Academy and the MMA Medical Faculty are inseparable entities and that the Day of the MMA and the Medical Faculty Day are marked with a reason on the same day.

Dean of the MMA Medical Faculty, Lieutenant Colonel Prof. Dr. Tihomir Ilic emphasized that the Medical Faculty, although the youngest medical faculty in the country, is at the same time a faculty with the longest tradition of medical education because the longest medical tradition belongs to the parent institution - MMA. He also stated that he is proud of the total number of 455 participants in various educational programs, but also of the teaching staff of this higher education institution, which consists of 119 teachers and 49 assistants.

In the continuation of the ceremony, cadets were commended for the results and special success achieved during their education, and diplomas were awarded to doctors who completed specialization and sub specializations at the MMA Medical Faculty during the previous year.
