MMA Delegation visited Azerbaijan's Military Healthcare

Deputy Head Col. Prof. Dr. Dragan Dincic and Dean of the MMA’s Medical Faculty of the University of Defence in Belgrade Colonel Prof. Dr. Nebojsa Jovic visited the Directorate of Military Healthcare of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The meeting of the MMA’s delegation with the Chief of Medical Corps of the Republic of Azerbaijan Armed Forces Major General Natig Aliyev was organized in the framework of bilateral military cooperation plan with the aim of getting to know the capacity of the military medical service of the two countries. Major General Alyev presented the organization of military health care and in addition to talks on the exchange of qualified personnel and training specialists of different profiles, a tour of the main military hospital was organized. Prof. Dr. Dincic and prof. Dr. Jovic informed the hosts about the structure and organization of the Military Medical Academy and the level of education at the Medical Faculty of MMA, while Major General Alyev expressed an interest in the education of their doctors on basic studies of medicine at the University of Defence in Belgrade.
The official part of the visit also included a meeting with the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the Military Medical Service of Azerbaijan Colonel Firidun Nabiyev. It was an opportunity to learn about the organization of studies, and topics of discussion were related to the future professional cooperation and possibilities of attending courses at the Medical Faculty of MMA for staff members of the Military Medical Service of Azerbaijan.
