Light Field Hospital of the Military Medical Academy was launched June 4th, 2014 in the yard of elementary school "Jefimija", Obrenovac. Capacities of this temporary medical institution will be at disposal of citizens from the floods endangered areas and members of the Serbian Armed Forces and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who are working in damage sanitation.

Commander of Light Field Hospital Lt. Col. Dr. Miroslav Broćić said that more than 30 physicians and the other medical staff are involved in the work of hospital. In this facility it is possible to carry out simple surgical procedures, X ray diagnostics, laboratory analysis, as well as internal, orthopedic and the other types of examinations. More complex cases will be referred at a higher level of medical treatment.
