Ministry of Defence of the State of Libya, led by head of the Military Academy, Ministry of Defence of Libya Colonel Haled Ali Ahmed Omar paid a visit today to the Military Medical Academy. It was aimed at introducing Libyan delegation with educational and training possibilities, tailor made for Libyan Armed Forces in the institutions of military education in the Republic of Serbia.

Meeting was attended by the Dean of the MMA Medical Faculty, Belgrade Defence University Brigadier General Academician Prof. Dr. Miodrag Colic, Head of the Sector for Education and Scientific Research Lt. Col. Dr. Miroslav Brocic and Head of the Institute of Scientific Information Prof. Dr. Silva Dobric. They presented the capacities and conditions of military medical education, i.e. study programs at the Medical Faculty, Military Medical Academy, Ministry of Defence, further training within the framework of the MMA Sector for Education and Scientific Research through specialist studies, courses and trainings for reserve officers and medical teams.

At the preliminary discussions, the attendees agreed that Military Medical Academy continue long-term collaboration with the State of Libya in the field of education and professional training of the members in the military healthcare service.

In further course of the visit, State of Libya delegation took an insight to the Institute of Scientific Information and meet in detail with the library funds, Institute’s scientific and publishing activities, having the opportunity to see the Center for Hyperbaric Medicine, as well.
