In the organization of the Military Healthcare Department and the Medical Service of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, on January 11, a lecture was held via video link in the premises of the Military Medical Academy. The Head of the Medical Corps of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Major General Timothy Hodgetts, who has been a visiting professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the MMA University of Defense since May 2023, spoke on the topic "Management in unforeseen and uncertain situations, techniques and useful tools for innovation and change". The video conference was attended by the Head of the Military Healthcare Department, Brigadier General Radivoje Andjelkovic VMD, the Deputy Head of the Military Medical Academy, Brigadier General Dragan Dincic, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Sonja Marjanovic, Heads within the Military Healthcare Department as well as Heads of Sectors and Departments of the Military Medical Academy. The key messages of the lectures relied on current innovations, how to adopt knowledge in the best possible way and apply it to a given situation. Bearing in mind the good and successful multi-year cooperation as well as the general conclusion of all present that Major General Hodgets' lecture was very useful, it is planned to hold a similar meeting with a larger number of interested parties in the coming months.
