Participants of the College of National Defense of the Republic of Kenya led by the Deputy Director Major General A. K. Ikenye visited the Military Medical Academy as part of a study visit to the Ministry of Defense and the Serbian Armed Forces.

The Head of the Clinic for Nephrology of the MMA Colonel Prof. Dr. Djoko Maksic with his associates welcomed the attendees of the highest military educational institution, presented the work of the Institution in the field of treatment, scientific research, as well as education and training. The interest of Kenyan representatives was related to the latest treatment methods used in the MMA, experiences in the treatment of tropical diseases, transplantation, and the treatment of malignant diseases, tuberculosis and HIV. Also, it was discussed about the experience of member staff of United Nations and the European Union peacekeeping missions, as well as about the opportunities for professional specializations for foreign citizens.
