Two-member delegation of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Italy composed of Frigate Captain Dr. Gallino Michele and Frigate Captain Dr. Nesco Cosimo officially visiting Military Healthcare Department of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia, paid a visit today to Military Medical Academy.

Italian military doctors expressed their interest for the MMA work organization. They also had an opportunity to take a tour around following MMA units: Clinic for Emergency Internal Medicine, Solid Organ Transplantation Center, Clinic for Hematology, Institute of Occupational Medicine, as well as Department of Mental Health and Military Psychology operating within the framework of the Clinic for Psychiatry and responsible for psychological testing known as HEDONIKA.

Head of the MMA group of clinics for internal medicine Colonel Prof. Dr. Djoko Maksic offered Italian guests a warm welcome on behalf of the MMA Management, approving successful cooperation between Military Medical Academy and both military medical and civilian institutions in Italy, especially in the field of transplant surgery.
