A three-member delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran led by Colonel Dr. Mojtaba Yousefi Zoshk from the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Tehran visited the Military Medical Academy.

The meeting, which was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the MMA University of Defense, prof. Sonja Marjanović, Ph.D., Head of the Department of Treatment at MMA Col Dr. Miroslav Broćić, Ph.D. and Head of the Group of Surgical Clinics at MMA Col prof. Dr. Boban Đorđević with associates, was organized in order to discuss bilateral cooperation in the field of military health and military medical education.

The IR Iran delegation was introduced to the organization of the medical service and presented the capacities of the MMA, and topics of interest that can be considered as the basis of future cooperation in the field of military medicine included the work of the National Poison Control Center of the MMA, which was discussed by prof. Slavica Vučinić, Ph.D., levels of education and types of training at the Faculty of Medicine of the MMA, where members of the foreign armed forces also receive their education, as well as the international exchange of experts in various branches of clinical practice.
