Handing over the Donation of Hemofarm to Military Medical Academy

The handover of the most modern video laryngoscope to the Clinic for Anesthesiology and Intensive Care MMA, a donation of Hemofarm Foundation, took place today at the Military Medical Academy.
The Acting Head of the Military Medical Academy Colonel Prof. Zoran Segrt pointed out that the video laryngoscope is another new device among others at the Military Medical Academy, which will further increase the level of equipment of the Clinic for Anesthesiology and Intensive Care where every day lives have been saved, and the Clinic runs intensively 24 hours, 365 days a year. The new device will significantly improve conditions for both the doctor anesthesiologist and a patient during a very delicate procedure in accessing the airways, which is particularly evident in the treatment of life-threatened patients. Prof. Segrt thanked Hemofarm Foundation for recognizing the needs of MMA and with a donation of such a modern device the Foundation has enabled the additional quality in our daily work. He expressed his belief that cooperation with Hemofarm would be continued, primarily for the benefit of citizens and of all those who are being treated at the Military Medical Academy.
A member of the Management Board of Hemofarm Foundation and Hemofarm Director of corporate affairs and communications Sanda Savic said that Hemofarm has tried in cooperation with all healthcare institutions to equip each of them with the equipment they precisely lack. Such was the case with MMA which was donated video-laryngoscope three million dinars worth. Having donated equipment you improve the quality of treatment, but also improve the working conditions of doctors. "The fact that we participate in something noble motivates us in our further work. Otherwise, the MMA is 12th healthcare institution that we donated the equipment or medical supplies within the Hemofarm Foundation national campaign "With all our heart," with the focus primarily on health care, "said Sanda Savic.
