First MMA Medical Faculty Cadets Completed their Studies

Two female cadets of the final year of the MMA’s Medical Faculty of the University of Defence in Belgrade, among the first in the class, completed their studies on Friday, 17 July 2015.
A cadet Jelena Petrovic defended her final paper on "The microbiological quality of Pancevo waterworks drinking water in the five-year period" under the mentorship of the Head of the Sector for Preventive Medicine professor Dr. Sonja Radakovic, while a cadet Monika Macak defended her final paper on "Emergencies in gynecology and obstetrics "under the mentorship of professor Dr. Ljiljana Radojcic from the Center for Gynecology and Human Reproduction of the Military Medical Academy.
On this occasion, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Col. Prof. Nebojsa Jovic said that this is the beginning of final paper defence of the first class of cadets thus ending their six-year study, and after the joint promotion in September, 17 male and female cadets will officially become the first military doctors educated at the MMA’s Medical Faculty.
