Three-member delegation of the Military Healthcare Department of the Ministry of Defence led by the Acting Head of the MMA Colonel Prof. Dr. Miroslav Vukosavljevic, paid an official visit to Beijing, the People's Republic of China from March 21 to March 26, 2018.

The visit was organized on the occasion of the Medical Equipment Fair "Chinamed 2018", as well as participation in the 5th International Military Medical Forum as lecturers. In addition to Professor Vukosavljevic, the delegation included the Head of the Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology Clinic of the MMA Colonel Doc. Dr. Srdjan Starcevic and Head of the MMA Thoracic Surgery Colonel Doc. Dr. Vlado Cvijanovic. They presented the experiences in the field of war surgery, the management of war and peacetime eye injuries, as well as war injuries to the chest and extremities. Participation in the forum was also an opportunity to share world-wide contemporary achievements in these fields of medicine, and the lectures of our country's delegation were highly evaluated by the audience.

During the visit, a meeting was also organized by the Director of the Central Military Hospital of the People's Liberation Army of China, Lieutenant General Ren Guoquan, and the Acting Head of the MMA Colonel prof. Dr. Miroslav Vukosavljevic. Both sides expressed interest in continuing the professional cooperation, and at the same time, they discussed the modalities of future cooperation. Members of our delegation had the opportunity to get acquainted with the organization of work at the Central Military Hospital and share professional experience in the field of military medicine and organization of the military medical service with the hosts.
