Belgrade, December 5 - The MMA Teaching-Scientific Council at its 502nd regular session awarded the titles of full professor to the following members: Major General Prof. Miodrag Jevtić, MD, PhD – full professor of Surgery, Col. Prof. Zoran Popović, MD, PhD - professor of Orthopedic Surgery, the AF civilian employee Prof Žarko Vučinić, MD, PhD - professor of Internal Medicine, Col. Prof. Darko Nožić, MD, PhD – professor of Infectious Diseases, Col. Prof. Jefta Kozarski, MD, PhD – professor of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Col. Prof. Vojkan Stanić, MD, PhD – professor of Surgery.

The title of Associate Professor was conferred on to the AF civilian employee Assistant Professor Maja Šurbatović, MD, PhD – professor of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation, the AF civilian employee Assistant Professor Zlata Brkić, MD, PhD – professor of Paradontology and Oral Medicine and the AF civilian employee Assistant Professor Mirjana Antunović, MD, PhD – professor of Pharmaceutical Technology.


Lt.Col. Miroslav Pavlović, MD, PhD, was promoted to assistant professor of Aviation Medicine and Col. Dragan Vicić to assistant professor of Ophthlmology

Senior Research Fellow Novica Stajković, MD, PhD was promoted to Scientific Councellor in the field of Epidemiology and Doctor Zorica Lepšanović was awarded the title of Senior Research Fellow.
 

Commission for awarding the nominated candidates scientific and teaching titles comprised, apart from MMA’s professors, professors and assistant professors from the Belgrade University Schools of Medicine, Pharmacy, Dental and Veterinary Medicine and Biology as well as from Niš, Novi Sad and Kragujevac Schools of Medicine.
