President of the European Association of Dermatologic Oncology Prof. Dr. Claus Garbe visited the Military Medical Academy. Besides the Acting Head of the Clinic for Skin and Venereal Diseases Prof. Dr. Lydia Kandolf Sekulovic, Prof. Garbe was welcomed by the Head of the Group of Internal Clinics Colonel Prof. Dr. Djoko Maksic and briefly informed about the MMA’s activities.

Prof. Garbe thanked for the opportunity to visit the MMA, which he considered the best center for the diagnostics and treatment of melanoma in the region and emphasized the cooperation of MMA’s doctors within the European Association of Dermatologic Oncology. The German guest had the opportunity to visit the Clinic for Skin and Venereal Diseases, Clinic for Plastic Surgery and Burns, Institute of Nuclear Medicine and the Institute of Medical Research.

The respected dermatologist came to visit Serbia on the occasion of the XVIII Belgrade Dermatological Days, organized by the Association of Dermatovenereologists of Serbia in the period from 5 to 7 November 2015 in Belgrade.
