The commander of the Second Medical Brigade of the Armed Forces of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Brigadier General Phil de Rouffignac, met with the Head of the Military Healthcare Department, Brigadier General Dr. Radivoje Anđelković and the Head of the MMA, colonel Prof. Dr. Miroslav Vukosavljević at the MMA.

In addition to reviewing the capacities of the Military Healthcare Department and discussions regarding the training and preparation of medical teams, including medical planning in multinational operations, the long-term plans for military medical cooperation between the two countries were also discussed during the talks. As it was emphasized, many successful examples so far, especially in the form of exchange of experiences and knowledge, make the field of military medicine a prominent part of bilateral relations between the two countries.

As part of the visit, an interactive classroom dedicated to the improvement of international cooperation and modern methods of education was officially opened. The classroom is equipped with modern IT equipment obtained through a valuable donation from the Armed Forces of the United Kingdom to the Military Medical Academy.
