Belgrade, October 29 - Within the framework of international military cooperation, MMA Sector for Education and Scientific-Research Work hosted a three-member delegation from the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Italy led by Col. Giovani Cazzorla. MMA head Major-General Prof. Miodrag Jevtić, MD, PhD, offered the guests warm welcome to the Academy. In the course of the visit, Col. Prof. Đoko Maksić, MD, PhD, introduced the members of the Italian delegation with the organizational structure and main activities of the Military Medical Academy. Head of the Sector for Education and Scientific-Research Work Prof. Mirjana Životić-Vanović with her associates presented the system of medical education for MMA personnel, the organization of scientific-research work and publishing activity. Continuation and further intensification of cooperation in the field of advanced training of Medical Services personnel of both countries was also agreed.
