The head of the Military Medical Academy, Col. Marijan Novaković received today the delegation of the People’s Republic of China led by the Vice-Chairman of the Central Military Commission, Gen. Su Caihouom. The aim of the visit was to increase the awareness of the Chinese delegation of the capacities and capabilities of this medical institution.

Col. Novaković thanked the Chinese colleagues for donating 2 million dollars worth of medical equipment intended for furnishing the future Center for Alternative Medicine at the Military Medical Academy. In addition to the equipment, he pointed out the importance of the expert exchange as the most efficient way of acquiring new knowledge in medicine, what is proven by the experiences of the doctors from the Military Medical Academy who have already completed their advanced training in China.
