Defence Minister Zoran Djordjevic attended the MMA member staff meeting, held on the occasion of the appointment of Colonel Prof. Dr. Miroslav Vukosavljevic, former Head of Ophthalmology Clinic, as the Acting Head of MMA.

Minister Djordjevic said that the appointment of MMA Acting Head is an event that deserves attention, particularly in view of the planned reorganization of the military health care, infrastructure reconstruction and personnel reinforcements. The minister added that the ultimate goal of all efforts should be preserving the role and place that the Military Medical Academy deservedly has in the country and the region.

Acting Head of the Military Health Care Department Colonel Jovicic Ugljesa congratulated Colonel Vukosavljevic on the appointment and stressed that he advocated for work together that would contribute to the better functioning of the Military Health Care and MMA.

Acting Head of the Military Medical Academy Colonel Prof. Dr. Miroslav Vukosavljevic said that he was honored by the appointment and that he would do his best, along with associates and with the support of the Ministry of Defence, to improve the functioning of the Military Medical Academy, for the benefit of all patients.
