The ceremony on the eve of April 23 - Day of the Serbian Armed Forces was held at the Military Medical Academy.

Congratulating the awarded and commended colleagues, the Head of the MMA, Colonel Prof. Miroslav Vukosavljević, Ph.D., pointed out that this Day at the VMA is traditionally celebrated solemnly and at work, as well as that holidays are a good opportunity to summarize results and design new plans. He also emphasized that it is not easy to earn recognition in a profession that in a special and inextricable way connects the honor of an officer and the medical profession.

Head of MMA, Colonel Prof. Dr. Vukosavljević also said that today's gathering is an opportunity to highlight the pride of belonging to an institution that has resisted challenges for 180 years, but with the results in the most diverse branches of medicine, and that is at the top of our health system and bravely responds to the most difficult tasks.

"Confirmations that we are doing well are reflected not only in the number of treated and cured patients, but also in the trust of our fellow citizens, as well as citizens of the republics in the region, who were just as happy as we were about our, as my colleague nicely said, "famous" supplementary work. For us experienced people, the return of afternoon work is something we've been waiting for a long time and worked hard on, and it's an added pleasure that the younger generations also supported the step that allows us to maintain our MMA at the very top of tertiary health institutions," concluded Colonel Prof. Dr. Vukosavljević.

Acquainting the military staff of the Military Medical Academy with the fact that the MMA is qualified in terms of tertiary health care and recognized at the republican level as an institution for health activities in the field of organ, tissue and cell transplantation, the Head of the MMA gave credit to all who daily make it possible for the achievements of the MMA to take place under the roof of the MMA. and he cherishes and appreciates multidisciplinarity, because, as he stated, "only owing to teamwork and excellent cooperation, our daily duties, no matter how exhausting, seem so simple."
