A course in War Surgery and Clinical Toxicology intended for members of the medical service of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland opened today at the Military Medical Academy.
During the opening of the first category course, it was emphasized that teaching activities and the exchange of specific knowledge and experiences are of particular interest for military medicine and the traditional way of cooperation between the medical services of the two countries. In the coming days, participants will have the opportunity to gain extensive knowledge in the field of principles of diagnosing and managing acute poisonings, as well as treatment and healing of war wounds and injuries from the perspective of plastic surgeons and specialists in orthopedic surgery and traumatology of the Military Medical Academy, through lectures by MMA toxicologists and presentations of case studies.
