The Head of the Military Medical Academy, Col. Marijan Novaković received today Surgeon General of the Armed Forces Medical Services of the Kingdom of Netherlands, Brigadier General Rob van der Meer, M.D., who is also the Chairman of the Committee of the Chiefs of Military Medical Services (COMEDS)in NATO.

The possibility of advancing cooperation between those two countries in the sphere of military medicine was the main discussion topic. The Netherlands party was introduced into the MMA’s capacities and capabilities in the fields of treatment, education and scientific research. Opportunities for involving Serbian medical experts in the work of COMEDS working groups were also one of the issues addressed at the meeting.
