Cooperation between Serbian, American and Angolan Military Doctors

A three-member delegation of the Military Healthcare Department of the Ministry of Defence led by the Head of the Sector for Education and Scientific Research of the Military Medical Academy Colonel Miroslav Brocic, participated in Luanda, the Republic of Angola at the initial planning conference on preparing for a joint medical engagement of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, the Ohio National Guard and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Angola planned for December 2017. The terms for the main and final planning conference, a number of participants, as well as the plan and terms of joint medical teams’ engagement were set out at the conference. During the visit, a tour of the location was organized where examinations of the local population in Angola would be held.
The joint trilateral medical engagement of the Ministry of Defence, the Serbian Armed Forces, the Ohio National Guard and the Armed Forces of Angola was first implemented in the south of Serbia in September 2016, when the citizens of eight villages in the municipalities of Vranje, Presevo and Bujanovac were provided for 10 days free health services by doctors of various specialties. In this joint action 31 members of MoD and SAF, 25 of the Ohio National Guard and three observers from Angola AF were included.
