I send my hearty congratulations to all members of the medical service on July 30, the Day of the Medical Service.

On this day 183 years ago, the first official document on the work of the military medical service was adopted and the first staff doctor was appointed by decree.

The members of the medical service, nurturing the tradition and preserving the memory of their ancestors thanks to the highest professional and human qualities that distinguish them, professionally performing their work, achieve successful results in the prevention and treatment of not only members of the Serbian Armed Forces, but also all citizens of our country, thus managing to maintain the acquired reputation.

Through the continuous participation of your medical teams in peacekeeping operations and the valuable exchange of experiences, you have achieved that the military healthcare service is modern and functionally organized, and as such represents a well-organized system known in the country, the region and the world.
