Commander of Ohio National Guard at MMA

The Acting Head of MMA Colonel Prof. Dr Zoran Segrt hosted the USA delegation led by Commander of Ohio National Guard Major General Mark Bartman. The main issue of the meeting with the USA delegation, that was in a few day visit to our country, was the promotion of the military medical cooperation within the State Partnership Program with the Ohio National Guard.
Colonel Segrt briefed his counterpart with the scope and way of MMA’s functioning. He expressed his satisfaction that the esteemed quest, within his short visit to Serbia, paid a visit to the Military Medical Academy, having in mind the quality and importance of the bilateral cooperation in the field of military medicine. He said that he hoped this meeting would be another brick in the wall for further upgrading of good cooperation.
General Bartman expressed his appreciation for, being the third time in Serbia, visiting the MMA and he confirmed the importance of cooperation in the field of military medical service for the American part.
Future plans for joint medical engagement in military exercises were presented during the meeting and it was also discussed about the participation of the Serbian representatives in peacekeeping missions under the auspices of the UN and EU. Also, quest had the opportunity to tour the Clinic for Anesthesia and Intensive Therapy, the Clinic for Emergency Internal Medicine, the Operational block with Central Sterilization and the Institute of Radiology.
