The Head of the Military Medical Academy Brigadier General Prof. Dr. Marijan Novakovic and Head of the Military Health Department Brigadier General Prof. Dr. Zoran Popovic received outgoing People's Liberation Army, Navy and Air Force Delegate in our country the Senior Colonel Li Jun and newly appointed People's Liberation Army, Navy and Air Force Delegate the Senior Colonel Wang Haibin at the Military Medical Academy on October 22, 2013.

Brigadier General Popovic expressed his gratitude for large contribution Colonel Jun has made in improving bilateral military cooperation, especially in the field of military healthcare. During his 16 year-mandate in Serbia the numerous Chinese donations have been realized so far thus including Military Medical Academy and many high level visits to China and vice-versa. Brigadier General Novakovic pointed out the importance of the Chinese experience in the field of traditional and modern medicine. The cooperation continuation represents a mutual interest and is planned to include the areas of scientific research, education and treatment through the joint work of Serbian and Chinese personnel.

Senior Colonel Jun said that Chinese part has great benefits from the cooperation with the Serbian military healthcare system with the emphasis on the highly estimated treatment system conducted at the MMA serving as the organizational example for Chinese military hospitals. He also brought out the persuasion that his successor Senior Colonel Haibin will improve even more the mentioned bilateral cooperation. Serbian hosts wished a warm welcome to the new defense delegate Senior Colonel Haibin.
